Vegetarian Eating

Nothing will benefit human health and increase chances for survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet.” ~Albert Einstein

Vegetarianism is the practice of abstaining from consumption of meat, poultry and seafood. It may also include abstention from  animal-derived by-products like rennet and gelatin. The four most common forms of vegetarianism are:

  • Lacto-ovo-vegetarian: Eats both dairy products and eggs. This is the most common type of vegetarian diet.
  • Lacto-vegetarian: Eats dairy products but not eggs.
  • Ovo-vegetarian: Eats eggs but not dairy products.
  • Vegan: Does not eat dairy products, eggs, or any other animal product.
